Launched in 1999 by entrepreneur, philanthropist and business executive, Jeff Bernhard, PhoenixCigar.com was created as an exclusive online cigar retailer that focused on selling cigars and accessories to cigar enthusiasts. In the last decade we have not focused on selling to every customer, but instead, the customer that appreciated a higher level of service. Over the years, we have built a customer base of thousands of loyal customers that appreciate a differentiated online experience. In 2007, the company decided that we wanted to find a retail store that embodied the same concierge level of service that we provided to our customer base. We found that store in Cigar Cigar!

Richard Tisch created Cigar Cigar! and opened its retail store and exclusive private club in 2004 in Sugar Land, Texas (suburb of Houston). When Jeff Bernhard, President of PhoenixCigar.com, met Richard and he walked into this retail store and private club he knew the difference between Cigar Cigar! and every other cigar store out there. The combination of a best in class retail cigar store and club, along with a best in class cigar webstore would be a cigar aficionado's dream. So Rich and Jeff decided to merge the companies and the rest is history.

From the moment you walk in the front door, you realize that this is not your average cigar store. From the high-end artisan woodwork in the hand crafted humidor and private cigar storage to the solid mahogany doors throughout the club, you know you’re in a place that you want to be a part of. Throughout the private club are flat screen plasma televisions, card tables, comfortable Italian leather chairs, a commercial kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a granite countertop and a wireless Internet system throughout the club.

In February 2008 PhoenixCigar.com (The Phoenix Cigar Company) and Cigar Cigar! merged to offer its customers the same great experience, whether you are buying from us online or in our retail store.
