Augusto Reyes has made a lot of cigars, the problem was everyone else was getting the recognition. In 2006, he finally decided it was time to put his own name on the label. The Nativo series (purple label) is his medium to full-bodied effort. The Nativo blend is a rare Dominican puro. The cigar has a Criollo "98 seed wrapper,an Olor binder and a filler blend of Olor, Criollo '98 and Piloto Cubano. In the December 2007 issue of Cigar Aficionado, the Toro received an Outstanding 91 rating. It tastes of wood and spice with a nice balance between the two flavors.
